Subhi J. Gharbieh Founder and President, Subhi Gharbieh, is not your typical Real Estate Broker. One of the youngest in the Business, Subhi's Passion for the Real Estate business shows in his dedication to his clients. Graduating from high school at the age of 17, he was accepted to the UT-Dallas School of Management. Real Estate/ Unique Architecture were always among his highest interests as a young child. He knew he didnt want to be an architect, so at the age of 18 while attending College, He jumped into Real Estate School. Attending to his college education during the week, and taking his Real Estate classes on the weekends, he passed the Texas Real Estate Salesperson Exam and Joined Keller Williams Realty. He admits it was tough starting out, being a new agent at such a young age. "The biggest challenge for me was convincing people to look past my young age and realize that I was going to do whatever it took to Fullfill their Real Estate goals." says Subhi. Hard work and dedication got him his first Listing, a $500,000 Ultra Contemporary Home in North Dallas; and thats where it all started. "I found my niche in Modern/Unique Real Estate and called it ModernDFW", he says. Subhi graduated from UT-Dallas with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and International Business in December 2008, 5 days after his 20th birthday. "It was truely a great feeling, being the youngest of over 2000 graduates" He says. After graduating, Subhi Travelled to the Middle East- Specifically Dubai, UAE and Doha, Qatar. His purpose in visiting these (at the time) Real Estate Booming Economies, was to establish contacts with some of the major Developers working on Huge Residential Projects that are all over the news now. " I got to see all the Man-made islands- The Palms in Dubai, and The Pearl in Doha, Qatar. It was a really fun and worthwhile trip. Striking deals to Market some of these developements in the United States was a major goal I set in visiting these Developers, and thats exactly what I did." Throughout his career at Keller Williams, Subhi picked up and learned many business ideas and experience that he implements in his Firm Today. In August 2009, Subhi felt like his experience was sufficient enough to attain his Real Estate Broker's License. He took and Passed the State Exam at the age of 20, making him one of the youngest Real Estate Brokers in the State of Texas, possibly in the United States. " I would always ask just out of curiosity, "Am I the youngest Broker in Texas?" But unfortunately, the Texas Real Estate Commission does'nt sort brokers by Age or Date of Birth. So I had no way of knowing. All I knew was that to be an agent you had to be 18, and to be a Broker- You have to hold your salesperson license active for at least 2 years.",He says. Gharbieh & Associates, LLC. was then Formed and is now the License Holder for Gharbieh & Associates, and All Divisions- including ModernDFW. "It was a great learning experience for me- to incorporate my own business at such a young age. While all my friends are still in college, Im out in the business world closing deals and meeting some very interesting people- I am truely Blessed." says Subhi.
